Ms. Cochran Davis started her career as a Landscape Architect for the USDA
Forest Service on the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest where she
designed recreational areas, trails, and trailheads in addition to long range
forest planning. She then spent 16 years working in local government for
the Athens Clarke County Unified Government (ACCGov). Prior to founding
Maypop Collaborative, she served as Assistant Director of the Leisure Services
Department. In her role, she led the Office of Park Planning, Outreach and
Development, Park Maintenance, Financial Administration, Public Relations,
Marketing, and Project Management. During her tenure with Leisure Services,
the department won multiple agency of the year, programming, volunteer,
leadership, and maintenance awards. Her leadership helped secure over $126
million in SPLOST projects and the tripling of the department’s annual capital
project budget.
Dr. Klosterwill is a landscape designer, community planner, historian, and writer. Kevan holds a PhD in the Constructed Environment from the University of Virginia, and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Dr. Klosterwill is a landscape designer, community planner, historian, and writer. Kevan holds a PhD in the Constructed Environment from the University of Virginia, and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. In addition to design work, he consults on cultural landscape projects around the country. Project experience includes preparation of cultural landscape reports at many national parks and historic sites, where Kevan has focused especially on historical research. Kevan is the 2022 recipient of the Coffin Publication Grant from the Foundation for Landscape Studies for his under-development book on Warren H. Manning, to be published by the Library of American Landscape History. His research and writing has appeared in an array of scholarly and general publications, including Landscape Journal and Landscape Architecture Magazine.
Kevan recently joined forces with Maypop Collaborative as a collaborative consultant, focusing on planning and design.
Ms. Hall is the Founder and President of Hall Consulting.
She has a Master of City Planning degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an BA in Economics from Northwestern University. In 2019, she graduated from the Water Environment Federation's Water Leadership Institute and in 2022 she earned her MBA from Louisiana State Unive

Since 1997, Marilyn has created and implemented high quality, innovative plans for communities and utilities throughout Georgia and the Southeastern United States. She is an expert in designing and implementing communication strategies and public engagement programs for comprehensive plans, high profile projects, and utility initiatives.
Marilyn served as the Water Resources Planner for Athens-Clarke County, Georgia. She created and implemented a water reuse program, was responsible for the utility’s 400M long-term CIP, managed planning and construction for a solar array at the Cedar Creek Water Reclamation Facility, and conducted the public outreach program for the county’s Service Delivery Plan.
Mr. Darrington graduated magna cum laude from Morehouse College with a BA in political science and membership in Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. He co-founded the Sunrise Atlanta University Center, which combats the disparate effects of climate change on communities of color. Patrick’s skills and experience in research, journalism, communications, and community advocacy support Maypop Collaborative’s mission of supporting local governments and nonprofits. We are excited to have Patrick join us as a collaborative consultant.
